But Or And
Unlike alternatives, which are either/or, options are in addition to that which exists. While, on occasion, options may be limited to choosing one from a number of selections, just as often if not more so you may select several options at any one time. For example, when purchasing a new car, you can select several options such as carpeting color and style, seat styles and materials, paint color, various pre-packaged groups of accessories, and much more. Life is full of options and the number from which you may choose is unlimited. However, beliefs and other such inner programs often cause you to limit your options to only one or two. This is often reflected in your language with a single, small word - "but". This little word has the power to cause you to self-limit, ignore, or not even acknowledge the fact that you may choose both, many, and all. To experience this for yourself, for one day notice the effect of the word "but" in your conversations with others, whether it is they or you using the word. Additionally, monitor your thoughts to experience the effect of this word and how it limits you. Then exchange the word "but" with the word "and". Notice how your perceptions expand with the use of the inclusive "and". Life - all life - is full of options. We say that again to emphasize the fact. All life is full of options. Your world is created to offer you an unlimited amount of options which you can experience. To limit your options to only one in each and every choice presented you is to limit your experience and, thus, your learning. Multiple options avail you of multiple experiences which often connect with each other to compound and greatly enhance your learning. Combining connected options takes your life experiences and thus, your learning, to a much more grand level and on a much more vast scale. Look to your options and select those which delight, intrigue, and attract you. Select as many as you wish. The more you experience, the greater your learning, and thus, the higher you raise your frequency… and that of the collective of humanity.
