How You Do Anything...

When I was first learning Tai Chi, I kept having a problem with losing my balance and falling forward. Since one of the main teachings of Yang style Tai Chi is to remain centered, grounded, and balanced I was obviously not getting the teaching.

My instructor told me that in order to achieve stability, before you shift your weight to take a step, you make sure you have a solid footing on which to shift your weight to. Then he gave me some homework to do... Tai Chi walking in a circle, both to the left and to the right. It took me a few days of this boring, repetitive walking, focusing on making sure I had a solid, stable landing place before I shifted my weight forward to my other foot, but finally I got it.

More importantly, what I got was the awareness that I was mentally anticipating the next step before I was prepared for it. As I focused on insuring that my unweighted foot was in a stable enough position so that I could shift my weight to it, I began to notice how my thoughts about anticipating the next movement had been affecting my Tai Chi. Further, and more importantly, the realization came to me that I was anticipating my next move in almost everything that I did in my life... falling forward into situations without taking the time to research their stability, safety, appropriateness and more.

And then I remembered my favorite astrologer, David Pond, once telling me that my chart is a "forward leaning chart", which he interpreted as an influence that propelled me to always live in the future, not in the now. And upon reflection, I found he was so right. It has often led me to jump or fall forward into situations that were not properly prepared, solid, or stable landing places. Sometimes it was good, but more often it turned out to be disastrous.

Sometime during all this, I attended a Millionaire Mind seminar, in which I heard the most astounding concept that put it all together in a very few words. It's simply this:

How you do anything is how you do everything.

This single, simple thought summed up perfectly what I'd learned in Tai Chi and from David about how I operate in life.

As I began to keep my balance in Tai Chi, I found I was also remaining more in the present regarding other facets of my life. There are now fewer jumps into situations for which I'm unprepared as well as a whole lot less blurting out unedited thoughts. As a result of this one simple realization, I now have much less stress in my life.

How do you do anything? I invite you to take one aspect of your daily life and examine how you typically operate in that arena. Then reflect upon other arenas in your life and notice how the same mental responses and thus similar actions apply in those areas of your life.

The practice of this concept works for both those things you're doing that are giving you the results you want, and for those that are having the opposite effect in your life.

Love,
Kathy

Stickman Tai Chi
Yang Style
24 Movement Form

Millions of people are practicing this ancient Chinese martial art and as they do so, they realize many health benefits, such as better balance, flexibility, more energy and muscle strength. Many use it as a moving meditation.

This is one of the most common Forms used to teach beginners the basic movements of Tai Chi. The basic 24 Movment Form contains the foundational movements that are in all other Tai Chi Forms. Included is illustrated instruction for proper stances, how to correctly step forward, backward, and change direction, as well as important hand, foot, and body positions to get you started with the proper basic knowledge.

What you'll find in this ebook reflects the knowledge and experience I've gained from my 30+ years of Tai Chi study and practice.

Become a Master of Your Beliefs Rather than
a Victim
of Their Consequences

Is your life running on default programming?

Your beliefs are stored in your subconscious mind. Neurological research indicates that as much as 95% of your conscious brain activity is controlled by your subconscious. These subconscious beliefs create the filters through which you respond to life's challenges, establishing the limits of what you can achieve. In other words, everything you do, think, and feel is governed by your beliefs.

When you change your beliefs, you change your life.

It's simple and easy to change your limiting beliefs into those that support you so you can easily create a better quality life for yourself. PSYCH-K provides powerfully effective methods to rewrite the software of your mind so your conscious desires and your subconscious beliefs are aligned.
