A New and Improved Fourth On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was signed by all members of our Congress. And so the United States of America was born! Since the first anniversary of that important date we've been celebrating it with the use of fireworks. Of all the holidays we observe in this country, that's the only date which we traditionally use fireworks as the main method of celebration. As that holiday approaches, once again fireworks stands begin to pop up everywhere. Although to some this brings joy, to many others it brings dread... for several reasons:
Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, fireworks are a simulation of war. In fact, our national anthem includes the words "bombs bursting in air", which perfectly describes today's firework displays. The sounds of gunfire are replicated by firecrackers. Exploding bombs are duplicated by bottle rockets and other pyrotechnics. Instead of simulating the sights and sounds of war to celebrate the birth of our nation, I suggest instead having a birthday party! Birthday cake, presents, decorations, parties, playing games... everything that represents the celebration of the birth of something we love! During a Tarot reading, the information I receive and share with you is based on the current energy at the time of the reading. Whether the reading is remote or in-person, it's done in the Crystal Room at my house - a room filled with the pure, high-vibrational energy of many crystals.
