The Blessing of Joe's Dark Cloud
In
the old Al Capp cartoon Lil Abner, there was a character by the
name of Joe Btfsplk. Joe was the icon of bad luck. Where ever he
went a dark cloud hung above his head and rained on him.
Misfortune,
accidents, and all kinds of bad luck seemed to surround him and
any others who came too close to him. So people avoided him like
the plague. And in a sense, he was a plague… a plague of bad luck
and misfortune.
Because
people avoided him to the extent that they wouldn't even walk on
the same side of the street that he was on, he led a very lonely
and unhappy life. He was sad, depressed, and had a very gloomy outlook
on life.
Although
Al Capp intended for Joe Btfsplk to be a symbol for the bad luck
that seems to follow some people, there is another explanation for
this… The Law of Attraction. It was at work for Joe the same as
it is for everyone everywhere and always, bringing whatever a person
is focusing their attention upon. "Like attracts like"
is a simplistic way of explaining how the Law of Attraction works.
In
Joe's example, his black cloud represents the dark beliefs that
people hold about themselves. These negative beliefs are acquired
by people via teaching from their by parents, teachers, religious
leaders, the media, friends, relatives, and more. The teachings
are both direct, such as verbal instruction, and indirect, such
as observed examples of interactions with others.
In
too many cases people are programmed to believe that they deserve
only the least and the worst of any and all situations. Low self
esteem is a dark cloud that hangs over any and all of us who live
with beliefs of being less than. Less than lovable. Less than perfect.
Less than deserving of the best. Less than good enough. Less than
worthy.
But
here's the truth: that dark cloud holds a blessing. Just as rain
from dark clouds brings the blessing of water to the plants and
trees, helping them to grow, so does the rain from the dark cloud
that hangs above a person bring them the blessing of water to help
them grow. It presents the opportunity of attracting exactly the
experiences you need in order realize your greatest qualities so
that you can grow into your best self.
Try
this: Think about an experience you had with another person that
was less than pleasant. One that was disharmonious in some way -
stressful, frightening, agitating, annoying, irksome, maddening...
well, you get the idea. Then
ask yourself, "What did I learn from that experience? What
little (or huge) gem of wisdom did it offer me?"
The
answer to that question may surprise and delight you.
Whenever
a dark cloud is hanging over you, following you wherever you go,
stop for a few moments, go within, and ask, "What
are the blessings of love that this dark cloud is raining down upon
me?
Peace
and Love,
Kathy
Omnidimensional
Oracles: The Book
Symbols
are greater than what you currently deem them to be. They are more
than representations of businesses, organizations, mathematical
functions, and the like. They are powerful beyond your current understanding
of them. Their power lies in this one statement:
Symbols
hold the energy of the truth
about the structure of your world and how it works.
Of all the beings on our planet, in our dimension, only humans have
symbols. These Omnidimensional Oracle symbols have been created
in partnership with the Omnidimensional Beings and myself to communicate
specific energies of conceptual systems of belief by which we humans
operate in our world.
The
written messages that accompany each of the symbols describe their
energy, their relationship to our Third Dimensional reality, and
how they may be used for the higher purpose of raising frequential
vibration of each person and subsequently, that of the collective
of humanity. Each symbol holds the specific energy of each Oracle.

Just
for Fun!
I
haven't always been a life coach. I've had many jobs and types of
work that include (but aren't limited to) logging, clam digging,
bartending, pea testing, motel maid, owner/operator of a roofing
company, carpenter, Realtor, and salesperson of building supplies
to contractors.
The
weirdest and wackiest of all my jobs was when I was a Construction
Superintendent in charge of building a mini-mart/gas station. Everything
from the job site itself to the subcontractors had some oddball
aspect to it, often requiring me to come up with some creative solutions.
Enjoy
this sample from the intro: It's true. One phone call can change
your life. It took just one phone call to take Katlin Greene from
her beautiful, peaceful farm where she worked out of her home as
construction estimator to living on a construction job site in a
rusted-out, old camper perched on top of a truck in matching condition.
According to her boss during that fateful call, it was a "wunnerful"
opportunity. Enjoy the hilarious, hectic, and heartfelt adventures
of Katlin as she delves into a construction project fraught with
odd and unusual challenges and meet the characters who make this
an unforgettable experience for Katlin.
And
then enjoy reading a sample chapter here: Chapter
23 from Studs.
