The
Great Value of Confusion
This morning I had planned to connect with the Omnis and ask them to give me more information about using Triality, which I would then use as the article in this newsletter. The information they shared with me did nothing to clear up my confusion about the nature of Triality or how to use it. So I decided not to use it as the article for this edition of my newsletter and instead selected at random an Omni symbol from my deck of Omni cards. The card that came up was Confusion. Perfect. At first thought confusion may seem to be a thing to be avoided, and yet it has qualities and uses that are absolutely beneficial. Being in a mental state of confusion indicates that too much information is incoming. Contrary to common beliefs, this is a benefit. It is far better to have too much information than not enough. Lack of information leads to poor decision-making quality, which then leads to undesirable results. Too much information, although potentially confusing, results always in better decisions. In the chance that the initial decision is not optimum, you still have a great quantity of information remaining with which to decide anew, to make a different choice, in order to amend the original decision. Thus, you may then improve the situation for a more desirous outcome. When confusion begins, rather than stopping the flow of information, the better choice is encouraging more to come in. The gathering of as much information as possible, especially in the beginning stages of any new project or creation, is most desirable. Blocking the flow of information sets up a situation in which choices and decisions not in alignment with the highest and best potential for the project or creation will most certainly be made. This can only result in the final result being substandard as well. Welcome confusion as it comes your way. Gather up all the information, no matter how diverse and how unrelated it may seem. At a later time or stage of the creation or project there will be ample opportunity to sort out that which now flows toward you in a confusing array. When confusion occurs it indicates that it is not the proper time to be concerned with sorting, categorizing, and filing the incoming information. Confusion is the time of harvest. Later comes the time of separating the wheat from the chaff, the dirt from the potatoes, the leaves and thorns from the berries. As you sense yourself becoming confused, open up to all that is coming in. Attempting to sort it at this stage is like trying to sort raindrops as they fall from the sky. When confusion reigns, it rains. Set out the buckets and gather it all in. At some point the information will slow down and then eventually come to a stop. It is then that it can be dealt with - categorized, instantly utilized, saved for later, or deleted. Revel in the confusion of information as it surrounds you and gather it all in, for when all calms down you will realize that you have reaped a great quantity of very valuable information for which you will be very grateful. This great amount of information will serve you well in your endeavors. Love,
